Caregiver Certificate Program – Specialized Training (25 Hours)

This program includes 25 hours of hands-on, practical training focused on real caregiving skills required in home care and healthcare environments.

Students will learn how to:

  • Understand different stages and symptoms of dementia
  • Communicate effectively with memory-impaired clients
  • Manage challenging behaviors such as confusion and aggression
  • Assist with daily living activities while maintaining dignity
  • Ensure safety and prevent risks in home environments
  • Provide emotional support to both clients and families
  • Manage stress and work professionally in demanding situations
